How much does it cost? That depends. The CNO has been paid a lot and he has been paid nothing.  He has been paid per hour, per project, per event and per retainer.  In every case, the outcome to be achieved matters more than the cash handed over. A rule of thumb as to how much to pay: just don't insult the CNO.
